Our Mission
Our mission is to provide you with the skills you would need to survive in a wilderness setting if you are ever lost, injured, or trying to survive. We at APSI feel that in the years to come, these skills will be invaluable. We also aim to provide you with the right gear and supplies to help you survive virtually anything.
Extraordinary Experiences
Prepare to learn a lot, and prepare to have fun!
Our day starts in the morning with breakfast. We then go into lecture and a lot of hands on learning. We break for lunch around noon, and afterwards get into more classroom time and “dirt time.” In the evening, we break for dinner. After dinner we see how we are feeling. We might have more class, or you can practice the skills you have learned. Eventually we end up around the campfire and tell very interesting stories (think Bigfoot). At this point feel free to stay up and hang out, or you are free to go to bed in your tent or hammock.

In a heartfelt endeavor to give back to those who’ve served our nation, Arcturus Primitive Skills Institute has embarked on a mission to help empower U.S. veterans. Through a strategic partnership with Cerberus Security and RUFFRUCK2023, we have assisted in raising money to provide service dogs to disabled U.S. veterans. Through our meaningful partnership with VETERANS RISING, Arcturus Primitive Skills Institute is proud to help make a lasting impact on the lives of U.S. veterans. By combining our efforts, passion, resources, and shared commitment to veterans’ well-being, we’ve created a powerful synergy that not only supports veterans but also strengthens our communities and nation as a whole. As we continue on this journey, we remain dedicated to empowering veterans through these organizations, and ensuring that our veterans receive the respect and opportunities they rightfully deserve. At Arcturus Primitive Skills Institute we love our veterans as well as law enforcement officers, corrrections officers, fire fighters, EMTs, and others from all walks of life who seek to make our world a better place.
